Last week we introduced comments on monitors. This week, we’re taking it a step further: the comments feed includes change tracking activity posts mixed in to the chronological activity flow. Configuration changes appear with the actioning user for visibility and context. Indirect changes like a monitor’s last run status are also tracked.

This gives you a single place to see the full story of a monitor: the discussion happening around it and the state changes it’s gone through.

In the future, we will extend this change tracking to all other surface areas in the product (i.e. insights, teams, users, usage groups, etc.).

We also extended comments to monitor feeds! You can now view the associated comments for that monitor directly from the feed

Other Things We shipped

  • 🪄 For data share customers, we now have a case-insensitive column name for each usage group set in the usage group views which is robust to set renaming
  • 🪄 Updated our Cortex tracking to handle Snowflake’s new pricing model.
  • 🪄 You can now search your copilot sessions by title
  • 🪄 You can now chose between ‘Linear’ and ‘ML powered’ forecasting in all charts (including the contracts page)
