Object tags allow Snowflake users to better monitor objects, as well as facilitate data governance operations, such as auditing and reporting. We have added support for filtering and displaying and slicing by warehouse, user, role, and database tags across pages on SELECT.

Object tags have been supported in usage groups for a while on SELECT. Now, we are also supporting the ability to filter by and display object tags on various pages across SELECT.

While filtering, look for Warehouse Tag, User Tag , Role Tag , and Database Tag options. You will also find these options when adding columns to tables on various pages. The charts on all of the workload pages can also be sliced by these options.

Support for other object tag types (i.e. schema and object level) will be followed soon.
