An essential component of any Snowflake cost management strategy is the ability to receive regular usage reports & notifications, either on a schedule or when usage spikes abnormally. With SELECT, our vision is to enable our customers to easily configure a variety of different monitors based on any activity in their Snowflake account.
As a first step in this direction, we've moved our previous alerting capabilities to a brand new section: Monitors. From the Monitors page, you can configure a scheduled Spend Digest or Threshold Monitor for any Snowflake account, Usage Group or Warehouse.
